happy halloween!

halloween is definitely new york's most fun night.
it was an incredible experience just to roam around the city.
heck, i didn't think that riding the subway would be so very interesting.
new yorkers take the holiday seriously. they dress-up and get really into character.
i wish everyday is halloween! :)

i thought of dyeing my eyebrows blonde too but got scared i would be stuck with a blonde brow and black hair.

ofcourse, nobody guessed that i got my halloween look from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2010 runway.

off season

it was another rainy saturday, which explains the somewhat frizzy hair.
the fall season weather we are having right now proves to be a challenge for my blogging.
it's either too cold or too wet outside.
so expect more indoor pictures... such a bummer.

on rainy days, i always use a rain repellent on my leather shoes to better protect them.
this one is pretty good.

dumpling night!

the lovely dreamsequins and her mr. hosted dumpling night in their fabulous apartment!
here's what i wore...




marc by marc jacobs bow dress, cardigan i bought at secondtimearound, chloe boots, LV pont neuf

i actually thought i'm not going to be able to wear this dress again.
it was too recognizable, too sugary sweet and gossip girly.  wait!  it was actually worn by blair! :P
i guess it's not really my style anymore.



so instead of a bow, i tied the sash like a necktie. i thought the vintage cardigan also matched it perfectly!

the dumplings were "painstakingly" created by moi, bobbintalk, chrissyrhee and lady_lunacy.
aren't they the prettiest dumplings you've ever seen? :)

pointing fingers

i got a lot of stares, compliments and even smirks on my outfit today.
WAS IT BECAUSE OF THE SOCKS??
maybe so... as the looks and pointing fingers were mostly directed at my feet :).
it's actually quite funny getting those reactions.





i guess fashion is about eliciting reactions and emotions, whether good or bad, from other people.
it's also about experimenting, taking risks and trying out trends.
and besides, i kinda liked the idea of being able to wear my summer sandals into fall.
