it was a crappy rainy day in new york city.
so indoor pictures would just have to do.
i'm wearing a voluminous alexander mcqueen mcq plaid skirt that i purchased at a sample sale.
i love how it can be bustled underneath.
a simple knit shirt and my chloe booties completed my flouncy look.
i hope the weather would cooperate next time so we can take better pictures.
i don't think these pictures gave the skirt justice.

update: i did a little bit of research and i found out that the skirt i wore was from the mcq spring/summer 2007 collection.
i found my skirt's dress version on one of their ad campaigns from that season.
i was also able to get the gray halter dress (bottom picture) from the same sample sale.
(don't you just love sample sales?!?)
wearing it with a funky cardigan looks like a good idea!
