I did not anticipate to still be able to attend NYFW this season because of my pregnancy.
But with Lucy coming a little early, I had enough time to recover from my operation.
Thanks also to the folks at KCD for still including me on their invite list.
The new mommy appreciates a quick "me" time now and then :).
What I Wore
I refuse to buy new clothes at this point as I know my body is still changing.
Here I am 3 weeks post partum.
The body is not the same... more curves, bigger chest, wider hips (no jeans fit yet), extra pounds, scars, etc.
So I delved into my closet and searched for those that would fit.
I settled on a Marc Jacobs cap sleave vest, my favorite Pollini skirt and Derek Lam booties.
The Show
Richard Chai loosened up a bit in his latest collection.
The clothes are more flowy, some had prints, even sequins!
Even the hair style is less severe than the past season. There was even a model with pink hair!
The pieces are very wearable and effortless. I especially loved the finale look.
He's still quite the hunk! ;)
