i have been pretty quiet this week.
i'm saddened and humbled by the major calamities happening across the world.
it hit close to me as my family lives in Manila where typhoon Ketsana wrecked havoc to the city.
thank you to those who sent me an email and asked after them.
they are all safe and lucky to not be terribly affected.
let's all do our share and help through redcross for the victims in manila, vietnam, indonesia, samoa, etc.
THANK YOU!
~~
on a lighter note, my "postcard from my hometown" pals received the cards i sent them.

i sent them takashi murakami postcards that i bought at last year's exhibit at the brooklyn museum.
murakami is ofcourse most famous for his collaboration with louis vuitton.
he is the japanese artist behind the multicolore, cerises, cherry blossom, monocamouflage, etc LV collections.
i sent the first postcard to lovely ambar. it's a very timely card for fall :).
the second one was sent to gorgeous pink bow in london. the postcard shows huge installation balloons at the grand central.
i'm glad they arrived safely at your doorsteps!
thank you to dream sequins for starting such a wonderful project!
i now leave you with a few images from the murakami exhibit.
they are a feast to the eyes!
